About the Criteria Think Reason Solve Test
The CTRS is a fast, modular, accessible assessment for cognitive aptitude, one of the best predictors of job performance. The modular format enables you to choose which components of cognitive ability you’d like to assess, or measure general aptitude in just five minutes with the CTRS Express, our fastest cognitive assessment.
Why Use the CTRS?
- Faster: Adaptive scoring adjusts the difficulty of the questions as the candidate responds, pinpointing the candidate’s proficiency level faster, and with fewer questions than a non-adaptive assessment.
- Accessible: It includes new screen-reader compatible items for assessing abstract reasoning and checking accuracy, and also new question types measuring critical reasoning.
- Refreshed items: The CTRS comprises of an extensive pool of questions from other validated Criteria cognitive aptitude assessments – the CCAT, UCAT, and CBST, with a visual refresh.
- Candidate-friendly: A faster assessment leads to a better experience, and tailoring the question difficulty to the candidate ensures the candidate doesn’t get frustrated by questions that are too easy or too hard. Plus, candidates can take the test on any digital device they choose – a mobile phone, table, laptop, or desktop – anywhere, anytime. 5 Rigorously validated: The CTRS was constructed through a rigorous validation process by our team of I/O psychologists.
