Product Strategist

The Product Strategist Director works as a strategic partner with assigned Enterprise sales teams throughout the client lifecycle. Their focus is to accelerate Enterprise sales growth by winning new Enterprise deals or renewals, ensuring Criteria’s required development work is aligned to client’s expectations and on our global roadmap, and performing continuous client discovery to influence our product strategy. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Integral part of the Enterprise pre-sales and process for key accounts, meeting with customers, as needed to perform discovery and consultative selling 

  • Develop rapport as a product and industry expert with both internal and external stakeholders 

  • Lead technical and complex discoveries providing a holistic and accurate understanding of customer’s needs/challenges and requirements 

  • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure required product and technology work is on our roadmap 

  • Analyze industry and performance data to develop data-driven client narratives 

  • Share insights and recommendations internally with product, marketing, operations, finance, sales and leadership to influence key deliverables including product roadmap and go-to-market assets 

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a client-facing role with Fortune 1000 companies 

  • Excellent communicator with strong skills to effectively listen, write, speak, educate, and persuade at all levels 

  • Expert problem solving backed by innate curiosity and ability to ask insightful discovery questions 

  • Adept at writing documentation, presenting strategy, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical team members 

  • Data-driven mindset to help our customers understand how to think about assessments as part of their talent acquisition lifecycle 

  • Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment 

  • Strategic thinker with strong project management skills 

  • Proven track record of a consultative approach to selling 

  • Highly analytical and the ability to story tell using data 

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong time-management skills 

  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to feedback, and work in a rapidly changing environment 

  • Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with customers and colleagues 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills working in ambiguity and limited direction 

  • Experience in talent acquisition industry highly favored
